Our vision

We aim at

• giving you the maximum opportunities for development.
  
• being a “reflective school” – aware of what we are doing and at all times trying to do it better.
  
• contributing actively in assisting all young people in Djursland in getting an education, and working actively to ensure that everyone gets the education they desire regardless of social background.

In practice, this means that we focus on you as a student. We strive to teach you how to be good at reflecting (thinking) about the things you learn and the way you best can learn.

We wish to rouse your curiosity so that you feel like experimenting and exploring aspects of your subjects, and will provide relevant tools to assist you in cooperating with others. In this way you will develop self-confidence and courage to take a course of higher education.

Also members of staff and management need to be good at reflecting about their tools and methods of work so that pedagogy has central focus for your benefit as a student. Our vision should be reflected in the choice of subjects, in the lines of study offered and in the optional subjects as well as in the extra-curricula activities.
